I don’t want to comment over on Dark Lord since I already have an ARC I just started, but I appreciate so many of your points – as soon as I saw the title, I thought of how Voldemort and Harry are similar in so many ways, and a repeated theme is making choices on how to handle those situations.

As I struggled with writing villains, the subject is near and dear to me! I find myself studying them in books and movies even more than the heroes. It’s not just villains but anti-heroes too. They were once just obstacles for my fave characters. Now though, villains often steal the show for me!
